Gueida “Penny” Noble, 87, of Rochelle, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023, at her home. She was born September 11, 1935, in Cornettsville, KY, the daughter of Kenneth and Meda (Campbell) Cornett. She married Robert Lee Noble on June 24, 1960 in Hindman, KY.

She was the longest residing resident at Lincoln Manor in Rochelle, having been there for over 30 years. Penny loved to draw and paint. She was a devoted Christian who read the bible every day. Penny was a loving and devoted wife, sister, mother, grandma, great-grandma, and great-great grandma. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Penny is survived by her four children, Bernadette Amburgey of Emmalena, KY, Robert (Lisa) Noble of Paw Paw, IL Meda Marie Noble of Newark, AR, and Brazos Gene (Trena) Noble of Cortland, IL; ten grandchildren Kenny Ray, Donald Lee, and Dusty Amburgey, Sue Smith, Stephanie (A.J.) Gonzalez, Jeffery (Melissa) Noble, Allen Noble, Sheena Rutledge, Bobby Joe Baskins, and Katrina Lynn Noble; 20 plus great-grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Jerry Hansen and Ferol Coulter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Penny is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Noble; five siblings, Buford Cornett, Bunyan Cornett, Margie Jones, Flaury Cornett, and Bernard Cornett.

A funeral service will take at place 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 13, 2023, at Torman Funeral Home, 510 Flagg Street, in Paw Paw, with Pastor Ken Foster officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Wyoming Township Cemetery in Paw Paw.
