Richard J. Stoner, 60, of Paw Paw, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017, at OSF St. Paul Medical Center in Mendota. Rich was born September 6, 1957 in Greenfield, Indiana, the son of Richard J. Sr. and Verinda Faye (Ratliff) Stoner. He married Sandra M. Countryman on September 27, 2014.
Rich is survived by his wife, Sandy; children Richard J., Robert, Naomi, Jazzamon, and Adrienne Stoner, Bobby and Kristi Chase, Betsy Allen, Joey and Sarah Stoner, and Emily Countryman; step-children Dane and Kassy Kirk; his mother, Verinda Faye Bryant; siblings, Rhonda Applegate, Evelynn Taylor, Elizabeth Taylor, and Sherry Minifie; and numerous grandchildren whom he adored.
Rich is preceded in death by his father, Richard J. Stoner, Sr., and a son, Jackie Stoner.
A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the United Pentecostal Church, 4401 Illinois 251, in Mendota with Pastor Charles Yeakel officiating. Visitation will also be on Saturday, November 4 from 11:00 A.M until the time of service at the church. Cremation care has been accorded.
