Harley Dean Hoag, 88, of Compton, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019 at OSF St. Paul Medical Center in Mendota. Harley was born June 13, 1931 in Sparta, Wisconsin, the son of Daniel and Luella (Prielipp) Hoag. He married Rosemarie Bundick on April 3, 1965 in Warrens, Wisconsin.

Harley proudly served his country in the United State Army. He was a farmer who also worked numerous factory jobs, including Motor Wheel, Caterpillar, and Farmers Factory. Harley loved to be outdoors but was especially fond of fishing.

Harley is survived by his wife, Rose; one son, Dean Hoag; two daughters, Candi (Steve) Richey and Anne Hoag; four grandchildren, Jeremiah Cooper, Alicia Cooper, Brandon Richey, and Bailee Richey; and three brothers and six sisters.

Harley is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Luella Hoag.

Visitation will be from 4-6 P.M. Friday, December 27, 2019 at Torman Funeral Home, 510 Flagg Street in Paw Paw. Cremation care will be provided following the visitation. Private interment will take place at a later date in Warren Mills Cemetery in Warrens, Wisconsin. Memorials in Harley’s name may be directed to the American Heart Association.
