Amanda Lin Countryman, 30, of Compton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 26, 2020. She was born November 8, 1990 in Elgin, IL, the daughter of Randy and Esther (Hodge) Countryman.

Amanda was a 2014 graduate of Mario Tricoci University of Beauty Culture. She was currently working as the housekeeping manager at the Holiday Inn Express in Peru. Amanda was artisic and creative with a heart of gold. She loved to give love, a true empath at heart. She was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

Amanda is survived by her two children, Damian Cooper and Nehemiah Barbee; her parents, Randy and Esther Countryman; two sisters, Alicia Countryman, and her son Cameron, and Alexis Countryman; her maternal grandmother, Karen Hodge; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Amanda is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Oscar and Emily Countryman, and her maternal grandfather, Claude Hodge.
