  1. I was Greg’s neighbor, and had the honor of meeting him a year ago when I moved back to Rochelle. I had seen all the cats he was feeding and started helping him get them fixed and started taking care of them with him. Which led me to start volunteering weekly to TNR the cats of Rochelle, and will continue in his honor since he originally got me interested! Greg did love his cats and cared deeply about the ones outside as well. He was so nice and a friendly neighbor. I can tell all 8 outside cats miss him as they have been hanging around my apt rather than on his porch since he has not been home. I will take them with me when I move and always remember to thank Greg that they came into my life and fill it with joy everyday. After all he was the reason they were alive since he fed them and sheltered them! Sending my condolences again, my heart was so heavy when i found out. Rest in Peace Greg
