Jeffrey L. Simpson, 59 of Paw Paw passed away suddenly on November 16,2021 in Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Cremation rites have been accorded
Celebration of Life visitation will be Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 12pm-2pm in Torman Funeral Home Paw Paw, a service officiated by Rev. David Jungnickel will be from 2-2:30pm in the Funeral Home. Wasmer Funeral Home is privileged to assist the family.
Jeff was born December 8, 1961 to Roger E. and Geneva C.(Gibson) Simpson. He was a National Honor Society member of Paw Paw High School, graduating in 1980. Jeff was a farm hand for Boston Farms for 35 years. Jeff’s passion was Tractor pulling. He was co-founder with his brother Jon of Simpson Pulling. He belonged to Illini State Pullers for 43 years. Jeff gave in death as he gave in life; he was an organ and tissue donor. Jeff’s final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
Jeff is survived by his brother: Jon (Carol) Simpson of Paw Paw; sister: Trudy (Larry) McCarty of LaMoille; nieces and nephews: Jaclyn Simpson, Chris Simpson, Laura Simpson, and Megan (Tim) Simpson; great nieces and nephews: Austin Wright, Summer McCarty, Tim Thompson, Blake Walters, Lola Thompson, and Ryder Simpson. He is preceded in death by his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents. Memorials may be directed to the family.
