Judy Baker, 74, of Paw Paw, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Presence Mercy Medical Center in Aurora. She was born July 5, 1943 in Findlay, Ohio, the daughter of Harold and Kathryn (Oram) Stauffer.
Judy is survived by her son, Verne (Gail) Thompson of Compton; three grandchildren, Emily (Jesse) Morgan, Tim (Megan Simpson) Thompson, and Katie Thompson; great-grandson, Timmy Thompson; four sisters, Jackie Moody, Joyce White, Joanne Simmons, and June Thompson; children from her second marriage, David (Erin Miller) Bart Sr., John Bart, and Bill Bart Sr.; nine grandchildren from her second marriage; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Baker Jr; and two brothers, John and James Stauffer.
Cremation care has been provided by Torman Funeral Home, Paw Paw. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the United Methodist Church of Paw Paw, 370 Wiley Avenue with Pastor Dave Holden officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-6 P.M. at the church.
