Peggy Rosette, 76, of Paw Paw, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family. Peggy was born July 18, 1940 in Campbell, Missouri to Johnie and Mary Lena (nee Stevens) Morris. She married C. Arthur Rosette on April 10, 1983.
Peggy loved being with her children, church family, and living at home growing flowers, especially her orchids.
She is survived by her husband, Art; two sisters, Nila (Leroy) Fogle of Marietta, GA, and Sandra (Randy) Kramoski of Sterling, IL; four daughters, Sherry (John) King of Davis Junction, IL, Julie Jines of Rockford, IL, Lorna Moore of Rochelle, IL, and Lisa (Ed) Trout of Billings, MT; two sons, Gregory (Anita) Jines of Rockford, IL and David (Rita) Hector of Paw Paw, IL; two step-daughters, Angela Rosette and Tammy McIntyre, both of Florida; her grandchildren, April Kealey, Adam (Johanna) Trout, Camella Trout, Dylan Hector, Darrien Hector, Joshua Hector, Jamie Rosette, Salena Rosette, Megan, Jacob McIntyre, and Kyle McIntyre; several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will take place at 4:00 P.M., Sunday, February 26, 2017 at the Sycamore Church of Christ, 109 Swanson Road, Sycamore, IL 60178 with Phillip Vermillion officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Peggy’s memory may be directed to OSF Hospice or the Paw Paw Fire Department.
