Memories of times with my cousin Sammy and are families will be with me at this sad time.

  2. My cousin Sam was like a brother to me. He was my closest cousin. He was also a very good friend who was always ready to help. I will treasure the times we spent together and will remember him often and fondly. I can remember him as far back as when he was toddler and as recent as this November out at his farm house in Paw Paw. I shared my belief in Jesus Christ with him and tried to encourage him to do the same. I hope we see each other in Gods Kingdom my friend. I loved you while you here with us and still love you now that you have gone to be with him. I look forward to that glorious day I see him and you again. Your Cous.., Steve

  3. To the Michaels family. Sam will truly be missed. Thought of him often. Best friend Bruce

  4. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family from his friends in southern Illinois. As a teammate of his in high school, I can tell you that he played the game with intensity and tenacity. Although few of us have seen him since we graduated, I can tell you that his teammates have often thought of him. On behalf of the rest of his teammates, the AJ Wildcat squad from 80/81 send our regards to his family
