Sherman Earl Foster, 77, of Alpine, CA, formerly of Compton, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013 in La Mesa, CA. He was born July 27, 1935 in St. Joseph, MO, the son of Abster and Hazel (nee Hartman) Foster. He was united in marriage to Norma Hollowell.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 P.M. Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Torman Funeral Home, 510 N. Flagg Street, in Paw Paw.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, May 10, 2013 at Compton United Methodist Church in Compton where he will lie in state from 10 A.M. until the time of service. Rev. Ken Foster will officiate. Interment to follow in Melugin Grove Cemetery.
